Growth Marketer, NY
Our client is a 20-person Series A startup based in New York, focused on post-deployment AI tools. The next stage of their journey is marketing-driven, and you’ll be the founding marketer in the GTM team.
This is working directly with the founders, building our client’s presence from the ground-up - how they show in the market, the content they produce, the events they run and the channels they own.
It’s an early stage, high-ownership role. As you might expect, ambiguity will happen, the details have to be spot on and pedigree is a must here.
This is what the role entails:
Shaping how they show up across content, social, events and partnerships
Writing and producing content that earns the attention of engineering teams (blog, case studies, newsletters)
Owning SEO & performance marketing
Planning & executing events from intimate dinners to tech conferences
Identifying and building partnerships with communities, tools and ecosystems
Track what’s working, kill what isn’t, and document what you learn
What they’re looking for:
Someone who has 2-4 years’ marketing experience at a startup or high-growth tech company
Strong writing - clear, specific, AI-enabled, but not AI-written
Comfortable owning things end-to-end with limited guidance
Enough technical curiosity to understand what they’re building and who they’re building it for
High standards & a bias to action
Experience marketing developer tools, infrastructure or adjacent products
Using Claude Code or similar tools to improve your efficiency
Salary-wise they’re offering from $160k to $200k, and the role is based on-site in NY.
