Founding Growth Lead, GovTech Startup (NY)

Our client is a GovTech startup based in New York, and they’re looking for a Founding Growth Lead to own and build out the ops engine from the ground up. This is ideal for an individual contributor who wants a high degree of autonomy and execution power to drive inbound growth.

You will be:

  • Taking GTM / Growth efforts to the next level

  • Building on initial successes with webinars and content to create a significant brand presence

  • Creating and managing content across all channels (webinars, newsletters, blogs, case studies, linkedin)

  • Owning the inbound lead gen number

  • Collaborating with an SEO agency, ensuring content reflects brand voice

  • Planning and executive an events strategy - field events, in-person marketing activities

  • Leading brand initiatives - e.g. landing page revamps, ad campaigns, gifting programmes

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 2-6 years’ experience in a strong-signal, output-driven role

  • Has experience in an Ops / GTM / Growth role at an early-stage, high-growth startup

  • Has exposure to government or GovTech

  • Has targeted exec-level audiences (e.g. consulting, banking, PF/VC, trading)

  • High ownership

  • Must be a US citizen due to ITAR data

Salary-wise, we’re looking at circa $120k to $160k with Equity involved as well. It’s an on-site role in NY (4 days/week, 1 at home)
