Founding Growth Lead, GovTech Startup (NY)
Our client is a GovTech startup based in New York, and they’re looking for a Founding Growth Lead to own and build out the ops engine from the ground up. This is ideal for an individual contributor who wants a high degree of autonomy and execution power to drive inbound growth.
You will be:
Taking GTM / Growth efforts to the next level
Building on initial successes with webinars and content to create a significant brand presence
Creating and managing content across all channels (webinars, newsletters, blogs, case studies, linkedin)
Owning the inbound lead gen number
Collaborating with an SEO agency, ensuring content reflects brand voice
Planning and executive an events strategy - field events, in-person marketing activities
Leading brand initiatives - e.g. landing page revamps, ad campaigns, gifting programmes
The ideal candidate:
Has 2-6 years’ experience in a strong-signal, output-driven role
Has experience in an Ops / GTM / Growth role at an early-stage, high-growth startup
Has exposure to government or GovTech
Has targeted exec-level audiences (e.g. consulting, banking, PF/VC, trading)
High ownership
Must be a US citizen due to ITAR data
Salary-wise, we’re looking at circa $120k to $160k with Equity involved as well. It’s an on-site role in NY (4 days/week, 1 at home)
