International Media Relations Specialist, Saudi Arabia (Relocation)

Our client is a global energy major, hiring an International Media Relations Specialist to lead press release development, cultivate journalist and media relationships with Tier 1 international titles and trade press, arrange executive media interviews, and contribute to crisis communications as part of a broader global media strategy.

You will get the chance to:

• Lead press release development and cultivate relationships with Tier 1 international and trade media

• Arrange and prepare executives for media interviews

• Support quarterly results media activity

• Contribute to crisis communications and execute a global media strategy

Here’s what they’re looking for:

• Someone with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism or communications (advanced degree preferred)

• Someone with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in journalism, media relations, or corporate communications

• Someone with an agency or in-house corporate background

• Someone with energy sector experience ideally (oil & gas / NOC / IOC)

• Someone with previous spokesperson experience preferred

• Someone willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
