Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract position with the potential to convert into a permanent role. This hybrid role requires the candidate to be onsite for three days a week and offers an immediate start. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of project management experience, including significant global exposure across regions such as LATAM, EMEA, and NA A strong background in financial systems, particularly with platforms like Oracle EBS or SAP, is essential. Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is required, and while PMP certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that define the project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and necessary resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Project Execution: Lead and manage the project team to ensure all project activities are executed on time, within budget, and adhere to the required quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project remains on track and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including C-level executives, project sponsors, core team members, and the extended project team to achieve project goals.

  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and that project processes are consistently followed.
  • Change Management: Oversee changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring they are properly documented and approved.
  • Project Closure: Ensure all project deliverables are completed, and facilitate the efficient closure of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of Project Management experience with a strong focus on financial system projects. Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Project Lifecycle: Proven track record with at least five full project lifecycles, preferably within multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Tools: Expertise in using project planning and management tools.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for motivating and inspiring team members to meet project goals.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills to manage personal and team deadlines effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively, identify potential solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to tasks.
